I prefer the use of natural oils for my skin. The oils will do a better job of moisturizing the skin than most man made cosmetics because cosmetics are either water based or use heavy oils and solvents. The problem with water based cosmetics is that water evaporates rather quickly thus losing its moisturizing effects. Heavy oils are not readily absorbed into the body so they tend to sit on the skin and clog the pores. Sometimes the blocked pores will become dirty and infected forming blackheads. Natural cosmetics also do not provide the protective oils that the skin needs to fight off infectious germs. Natural products often treat the symptoms of the problem which they are used to combat and not the skin itself. When natural oil based products are used they provide many different benefits to the skin. They nourish the skin and remove harmful free radicals which cause damage.

Natural products will show their benefits over a period of time and their benefits will be longer lasting because they actually nourish the skin. There is nothing that looks better than skin which is naturally healthy and vibrant. Skin whose imperfections have been covered up doesnt look natural or healthy.
